How Kevin Seawright Is Working To Create Homeowners In Baltimore

Kevin Seawright is a businessman located in Baltimore. He has an MA he earned in 2006 at Almeda University and he completed an executive leadership program at the University of Notre Dame – Mendoza College of Business.

He started out his professional career working for the city of Baltimore in a number of managerial roles. He worked for Baltimore for 10 years, from 2001 to 2011. It was at this point that he entered the private sector.

For two years Kevin Seawright worked for a firm in Washington D.C. called Tito Contractors. He was the vice president of operations and he had a number of accomplishments. One of these was putting in place a new performance tracking system for the company’s contracts.

He also completely restructured the company’s accounting department in order to make it much more efficient.

After working for two other organizations Kevin Seawright became an entrepreneur in early 2015 when he founded RPS Solutions LLC (Real Property Solutions). His company is dedicated to helping the residents of Baltimore buy houses.

He is the firm’s managing partner and its chief operating officer. He manages the company’s day to day operations. He also focuses on creating a strong portfolio of both residential and commercial properties.

RPS Solutions uses staff, contractors, and volunteers to buy and rehabilitate properties. Once the home is ready it is sold to a new homebuyer. Kevin has seven people in the company that directly report to him. He has also built professional relationships with more than 20 area quality contractors.

As an expert in both the administration of a company and handling finances, Kevin has ably led RPS Solutions and its mission to help people. He says that people owning homes leads to stronger and more vibrant communities.

They are able to build wealth and take pride in their homes. Currently less than half the citizens of Baltimore own homes. He wants to push this up to around 2/3rds of people living in homes they own.
