Madison Street Capital is Accelerating Local Business Growth with Stellar Financial Advisory Services

The CEO of Madison Street Capital, Charles Botchway, recently announced a $13.2 million sale/leaseback transaction for WLR Automotive Group. The deal covered the sale/leaseback of five of WLR Automotive Group’s locations and was overseen by Barry Petersen of Madison Street Capital, and Jonathan Wolfe from Stream Capital Partners, a privately held investment and consulting firm specializing in sale/leaseback advisory services.

WLR Automotive Group is an auto maintenance firm based in Frederick, Maryland, providing auto repair and maintenance, car wash and detailing services in the Maryland and Tristate area. Taking the technicalities out of the equation, WLR Automotive Group sold their auto business locations to SCF Realty Capital investors and then leased them back for their automotive business operations. The group has raised operational capital for expansion purposes, which is targeted at the growing express car wash business.

WLR Automotive has enjoyed steady growth since inception in 1987 to cover more than 17 locations. This transaction presents an opportunity for them to realize rapid growth and expansion into new locations. Stonebriar Commercial Finance Realty Capital, a Texas-based financial services company, completed the transaction.

The transaction is a testament to the Madison Street Capital reputation of creating transactions that benefit both investors and business owners. They have a bold commitment to building strong relationships with local business communities.
